About ECSI

The Editorial Committee of the Swedish Institutes at Athens and Rome publishes three monograph series and the periodical Opuscula. Annual of the Swedish Institutes at Athens and Rome. The periodical and series are devoted mainly to classical archaeology, ancient history, art, architecture and philology. While the periodical contains articles within these subjects, the series include monographs or collections of scholarly works such as conference proceedings.

The committee accepts contributions after a process of peer-reviewing of submitted manuscripts. The committee consists of scholars from the universities of Gothenburg, Lund, Stockholm and Uppsala as well as the Directors of the Swedish Institutes at Athens and Rome.
